We would like to take this time to thank you for your continued support and patience during the covid-19 pandemic. We hope that you and all your friends and family members are all safe and well.
We are delighted to be returning back to the salon on Saturday 4th July. However, in order for us to do this safely with both the health and wellbeing of yourself, all our clients and staff we have had to put into place a few changes.
Our goal is to create a safe experience for you to enjoy with us whilst still providing you with the high level of services we always have. We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable in the new environment we have created.
However, we regret that in order to follow the strict procedures put into place for your safety, we have had to introduce a slight price increase. We hope that you understand our need for doing so. Our full price lists can be found on our website www.jenniferholmes.co.uk.
Firstly, we ask that if you or anyone you have been in direct contact with, or have been feeling unwell or are experiencing any symptoms related to Covid-19 please postpone your appointment. In this instance our cancellation policy will not stand.
Please come to your appointment alone and with as little as possible. As much as we love meeting your children, friends and other family members, at this time we must keep the amount of people in the salon to a minimum and therefore ask you to come alone. Unless absolutely necessary please avoid bring coats and jackets with you.
We have removed our waiting area to minimise the number of clients in the salon and to help abide by social distancing rules where possible. Therefore, please do not arrive early to your appointment. At the time of your appointment we ask that you wait outside the salon until your stylist or therapist comes outside to collect you. Please ensure that whilst waiting you stand close the salon windows to avoid blocking the footpath and stand with a 2m distance between yourself and others waiting.
On entering the salon please use the hand sanitiser provided or alternatively wash your hands.
During your time in salon we will provide the appropriate PPE required to carry out your desired service. Although face masks will be part of this provided PPE, where possible we ask that you bring your own. During the time you are seated at the backwash basins and during any eyebrow and eyelash treatments, face masks are compulsory.
We are fortunate that our hairdressing mirrors are positioned 2.5 meters apart under normal circumstances. However, we have installed cough screens between the mirrors as an extra precaution. These screens have also been installed between the back wash basins, across nail desks and across the reception desk.
During your experience with us we cannot offer you a magazine but encourage you to bring phones, iPads and other electronic devices with you. We have plug sockets available to provide charging facilities’ whilst in use.
We can offer you hot and cold beverages as refreshments. However, these will be provided in a disposable cup. Therefore, please take extra care when handling hot drinks. We ask you to dispose of these cups in the bins provided.
Please do not touch retail displays and products. Please ask a member of our team for information about products or help when purchasing products and other items.
We ask that contactless or Apple pay is used where possible at the time of payment. Please note: the salon does not have a purchase limit when using Apple pay. Unfortunately, we will not accept cash payments.
We cannot provide you with appointment cards and loyalty cards at this time. However, future scheduled appointments can be sent via text message or email. Loyalty points will be recorded with your client data on our secure and strictly confidential computer system.
